Jupiter's position is computed for the simulation instant by astronomy-engine, an analytic ephemeris model. There is no snapshot to age: the same code gives the same answer for any date.

Cloud bands and storms are a reconstruction from imagery, not a live weather observation. There is no solid surface to land on.
An archived Hubble OPAL map records cloud structure at its observation epoch. The globe adds simulated rotation, lighting and cloud motion; this is not today’s weather.
