Saturn's position is computed for the simulation instant by astronomy-engine, an analytic ephemeris model. There is no snapshot to age: the same code gives the same answer for any date.
Second largest planet. Famous for its prominent ring system. Its diverse moons include Titan, with a thick atmosphere, and ice-covered Enceladus.

Cloud motion is modeled. Ring illumination and shadows follow the Sun; the ring texture represents measured structure.
