What happens, where

This is the first total solar eclipse over mainland Europe since 1999. The Moon’s shadow crosses Iceland and the North Atlantic before reaching northern Spain shortly before sunset. The Sun will be low there, while much of the rest of Europe sees a partial eclipse.
